Happy New Year Leaders!,

2012 is going to be a good one! It’s so interesting to look back on the groups we are currently a part of and the groups we used to affiliate with. These groups not only say a lot about ourselves, but also a lot about the dynamics of the group itself. Some groups vary in their mission. Some groups come together to execute a task, others come together for social reasons. Finally, some membership that we claim may not be our choice at all, ie: our family.

I’ve developed a little activity for you all the try, give it a go and let me know how it goes. I’m super excited to post more often so please give your feedback by leaving a comment below.

Cheers!,
Hello Ehya

This blog is inspired by the leadership theories in my Masters of Organization Leadership program at Wood bury University in Burbank, California. As a a candidate for my MOL, I’ve already made the pretentious leap into labeling myself as a leader (or more accurately a wanna-be leader). But at the root of this mildly arrogant self proclamation lies some really useful information that I’d like to share. You might be telling yourself that leadership is for CEO’s or fools (and oftentimes the two are interchangeable terms), but the truth is that leadership is important beyond your professional identiy. Leadership is a mindset that helps organize your thoughts, communication, and your realtinoships with others. This blog was created with 4 main purposes:

1) To get you thinking

2) To get you involved

3) To entertain you

4) Help me learn my own leadership style

I’m going to posting photos, videos, quotes, product/book reviews, and interviews that will get your gears turning and hopefully bring some change and a smile in your face. In this economy the idea of dishing out thousands of dollars for a masters degree may be a doubtful on the return-investment side…so use me and my blog as a forum to get a crash course in leadership that you can apply to your everyday lives. Email me, stalk me, abuse me, I’m here at your learning disposal.

Let’s get this baby started!,
